"The Gift" lustre jug with a sentimental love poem on the front and "Success to the Fisherman" on one side and "True Love from Hull" (True Love is the name of the ship) on the other. English c. 1840.

Poem:
"The Gift" Kindly take this gift of mine / The gift and giver I hope is thine / And tho' the value is but small / A loving heart is worth it all.

"There She Blows" Nautical Folk Art Box by Edwin Nagel born in Philadelphia 1925. Served in the US Navy. Received his MFA from Tyler School of Art at Temple University.

After the embargo on sperm whale's teeth 1972, crafted boxes out of old cigar boxes & decorated them with scrimshaw subjects. Inside box compass rose & 2 dividied compartments. Nautical saying written all around the box such as, "Masthead Ahoy! There she blows! There she breur wheel: Steady!" "Steady, Sir". - Wonderful Folk Art treasure. American.

Hand carved lighthouse model from the port of Fraserburgh, Scotland. The Kinnaird Head Lighthouse was the first to be lit in 1787. The model has a painted family crest on the front as well as an electric bulb converted to American electricity. Scottish, Early 1900's.
